Introduction

This work was done as part of Google Summer of Code’s (GSoC) 2008 edition.

It’s main purpose, as listed here, is to implement file transfer functionality through SIP (with the usage of MSRP) in Jitsi (ex sip-communicator) open source client.

This was achieved using what is currently now RTF 5547 (and at that time was simply a draft)

This work gave birth to my MSRP peer library, and later, served as basis to my thesis dissertation.
