Hello! I am Joana Couceiro,

I am a Biotecnology and Biosciences PhD student at Técnico Lisboa (University of Lisbon, Portugal).

My research centers on exploring the pharmaceutical and biotechnological potential of secondary metabolites produced by coral-associated bacterial symbionts.

Outside the lab, I love spending time outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include traveling, hiking, and playing volleyball.
