I am proud to be part of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico where I lecture courses related to Information Systems and to Software Engineering.
Over the years, my classes became known to students for my characteristic enthusiasm and interactive teaching style. I am often found stirring students minds and stimulating them into making the most out of their time in class and of their university years. I may occasionaly be credited with this sentence:
“Make sure that your determination is greater that the destiny others want to impose on you!”
I believe that a successful teacher must also be able to expose technical knowledge while pairing it with the applicability and historical or social relevance of the topics.
