Collective housing in urban context: several housing blocks devoped for 'Maria Droste' location in Carnide,
Lisbon.
In order to contribute to the reinforcement of Lisbon's centrality of, a construction of a residential area
was proposed, and its integration in a wide Urban Park that serves this whole area of the city. Given the
importance of complementarity functions, in addition to housing itself, commercial areas were also considered at
the ground level, as well as service areas in well-defined zones.
The program required 160 homes to be planed, divided in multiple typologies:
20 T0's, 40 T1's, 40 T2's (<
120 m2), 20 T3's (< 150 m2) and 20 T4's (> 150 m2).
