Environmental Chemistry: of metal ions in natural waters, soils and sediments with special emphasis on their speciation (redox and dynamic speciation) to evaluated their mobility, toxicity and availability. Speciation of metallic nanoparticles in the environment
Bioelectrochemistry: Electrodes for redox proteins. Direct and mediated electrochemistry of redox proteins and enzymes. Kinetics and energetics of e-transfer and coupled interactions with redox partners and substrates in metalloproteins. Study of intra and intermolecular electron transfer (recognition). Study of of substrate/enzyme interactions (catalysis).
Development and application of analytical methodologies with special emphasis on electroanalysis.
