Coping with high sample throughputs
When considering the time requirement for analysis, one must discriminate between the real working time and the waiting period. Usually, the incubation period, that is the waiting period, is longer than the actual working period of approximately ten minutes.
It must be also considered that the analyses may have to be carried out one after the other. Furthermore, it should be considered whether all samples are available for analysis at the same time or whether the samples are taken over a longer period and further, at what time results are needed.
