From Excel file (uploaded '.xlsx'
or inserted '.csv'), computes, for a given cooling tower:
(a) kG, the
'global mass-transfer coefficient', kG ≅
L cL ⁄ (ρ Z a) ×
(Integral of Merkel equation); and (b) the
ratio ΔP⁄Z ([Ludwig, 1997]).
The coefficient and the ratio, for a given
cooling tower, are both usually adopted as empirical relations
of the form k L'α
G'β . So, k, α and
β are calculated here for either case.
Warning: due to execution on the Internet,
run times are limited to ~1 min.
Draws two plots: an upper plot with the values of
L' and G' sorted by ascending L' (first) and
G' (second); and a lower plot of the corresponding
experimental and calculated values of
(according to "which adjustment")
either the coefficient kGa
or ΔP⁄Z
from experimental data. |
