The closure of Alfa implies that the executables that used the NAG mathematical library, in "Calculations", no longer work. These executables are being modified (with our own routines) or transferred to the "Alf" cluster at Complexo II, a system jointly managed by Faculdade de Ciências (Lisbon University) and IST (Technical Univ. of Lisbon). The user will not notice any difference. The image below reads as follows: “Attention — This machine will be discontinued on 01.st March, 2007. From then on, the machine will not be shut down, but CIIST will stop granting the continuity and the quality of the services installed here. You must, thus, proceed to the transference of your files onto the cluster Sigma.” |
