| Generally, I am not quite fond of the well known Hollywood productions, but there are some exceptions. Some of these are the Steven Spielberg's masterpices "Schindler's list" and "Saving private Ryan". Other exceptions are the Bertolucci's "The last emperor" and Kubrik's "Alien". Indeed, some of my favourite movies are unknown to most people. A few examples are the work of Lars von Trier, with movies like "Dogville" or "Breaking the waves", the original "Run Lola Run" (original German title "Lola rennt") directed by Tom Tikwer or the only David Lynch's family film, "Straight Story" . But, from all the movies I present here, there are three that I really love: "Life is beautiful" by Roberto Benigni, "Malena" with Monica Bellucci and "What dreams may come" with Robin Williams. Finally, I cannot ignore the computer animated movies that I enjoy to watch with my son, from which I select "Shrek 2" and Pixar's "Cars". | ||
