Lisboa (2007). Presently, I'm integrated in project POCI/CTM/58767/2004, "Photovoltaic cells based on conducting polymers and anthocyanins". My work aims at the production of plastic photovoltaic cells, i. e., photovoltaic devices based on semiconductors polymers. In order to achieve this, it is necessary (i) selection of electron donor - electron acceptor pairs showing efficient charge transfer in the excited state; (ii) optimisation of the composites in terms of film composition and morphology in order to maximise charge transport efficiency; (iii) fabrication of photovoltaic cells and their characterization. In this work, the molecules used as electron acceptors are fullerene derivatives. Current research work |
