I just love nature. It is so relaxing to read a book under a tree, hearing some water flowing in a nearby river... or just to stay at home in a rainy day, seeing all those lightnings in a thunderstorm.
To listen to some music, specially in the end of the day, to relax, is something I do almost every day. I like rock, jazz, almost always quiet and/or melancholic songs.
musikCube is a very nice aplication to organize my music library because it is quite small and performs very fast searches.
It is one of my recent hobbies. With my first digital camera I started to discover this new world of color, landscapes, macros, patience and anxiety. Before that, I already had some joy in retouching digital images. For me, the combination of Nature, my bike and my Canon A75 is perfect. You can see some at Trekearth.
I'm a big internet consumer. I just love the fact that everything is near, research, knowledge and fun, just a few clicks away.
Opera is the web browser I chose. I use it for my daily browsing and as my main email application. As an intensive user of the WWW, I greatly appreciate the tabbed interface, mouse gestures, google search shortcut, password manager, security, customization, and many other features.
Intelli J is the most pleasant IDE I've seen. It is for java, but one can edit files from other programming languages. The only drawback is that it is paid. I like eclipse also, when pricing really matters. For languages that are not object oriented, like c, php3/4, I prefer a simple editor like notepad++ or kate/anjuta(light IDE) in linux environments. For .net projects I use Visual Studio.
The RIAA and music companies attitude towards copying rights and online music sales is just ridiculous. All the arguments they stand for are just distorted. I want the right to buy a record or a few songs online with a decent price and to copy my own music to listen wherever I want.
