Main Activities

 

I am Assistant Professor of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (DEEC) of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), TU Lisbon, in Portugal, and a Senior Researcher of INESC-ID in the Mixed-Mode Analog Circuits Group.

 

I am Senior member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and member of the Analog Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.

 

My research interest is in microelectronics design with emphasis in RF and in mixed-mode analog circuits.

 

This year I am responsible for Electronics I (1st Semester) and Analog Integrated Systems (2nd Semester) courses at IST.

 

I got my M.Sc., Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineer in 1993, 2000, and 2010 respectively, from IST, TU Lisbon.

 

I was a visiting scholar at TU Delft (The Netherlands) in 2000 and at Columbia University (New York, USA) in 2008.
