Just came back from Canada, where I attended Gamification 2013. It was a blast; I really enjoyed every single talk I went to. I also presented two papers, one about our second experiment with our gamified course, and another one where we mixed together gamification and virtual worlds as a means to improve student creativity and autonomy. If you are interested in the papers, check them out in the Publications page.
So, I attended VSGAMES 2013 conference a few weeks ago, where I presented the first results about our work on gamification applied to a college course. The work was very well received and we were awarded with the Best Full Paper Award. We thank the committee for recognizing our work. Check out the paper on the Publications section.
