A short summary of Daniel Wiesmann's work

I am a PhD Candidate at IST within the MIT-Portugal Program. I hold a Master's Degree in Physics from ETH. For my PhD research I combine statistical methods with spatial analysis to analyze resource consumption in urban environments. The main focus is on understanding energy consumption, but other flows such as materials and CO2 emissions are also considered.

Much of my work has been developed in close collaboration with David Quinn and Juan Jose Sarralde. Our most recent visualization project can be found at urbmet.org.
