About Me

Howdy, I'm a portuguese guy currently living and working in Sunnyvale, USA for Motorola Mobility as a Senior Software Engineer mainly doing web stuff.

I was previously working in:

Berlin, Germany for Nokia as the Lead JavaScript developer for the Ovi Maps Framework team.
Oslo, Norway for Opera Software ASA as a JavaScript developer on the WebApps team.

My main interests at the moment are (surprise, surprise) JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other web related technologies. I'm also keen on programming languages and compilers.

Disregarding Computer Science in general I have an interest in Nintendo® consoles and videogames, retro junk, Philip K. Dick books and texts, horror/terror movies.

StringUtils (2010) — Collection of functions to read Strings (in different charset encodings) from byte arrays in JavaScript.
Custom ExternalInterface (2010) — A library to make flash-powered web-applications that depend on ExternalInterface working on the Wii.
